Comments: It came out pretty good. I did a few things different. I did not use the Okra. I used a little more sausage than the recipe calls for (1/2 lb). I also threw in 2 cloves of freshly chopped garlic, and I cooked the rice right in the crock pot the last hour instead of serving the gumbo on top of it. |

Comments: I love this recipe.I made it at least a hundred times already.My friends and neighbors are crazy about it.Some times I add a little bit of gumbo spices and leave the chicken out because I think the sausage is enough. |

Comments: This recipe is SO EASY and flavorful. Great to start before going to work and having it ready when arriving home. Simple and readily available ingredients. |
