Comments: This is a pretty basic recipe, but I am not very good at thinking up sandwiches so it's perfect for me! I just shredded some deli sliced turkey, today for a change I am using leftover rotisserie chicken. And I am using shredded cheddar. With a lower-cal/carb tortilla, it's a great healthy lunch. I do think the cone idea is a little silly, I just roll it up like a wrap because that's a lot easier to eat. |

Comments: My husband is an invalid and picky, picky, picky, and this recipe, with some modifications, pleased him a lot. I didn't have any turkey on hand the day I found it, but I did have a left-over baked chicken breast which I cut into strips. This called for Swiss cheese strips instead of Cheddar. Instead of decorative toothpicks, I used two regular picks and topped each one with a small black olive. I served small corn chips and a small container of salsa, making the plate attractive and he was all smiles for a change. Nothing to serve weekly, but to add a little spice to life occasionally, I will be going back to this page. |
