Great cake. Made this for my son's birthday because I wanted to make something with a more oomph(instead of just regular cake with frosting) and all my boys love strawberries. It was a huge hit. All the grandparents raved over it and today is my second son's birthday and he requested it, too! Really yummy. |

The cake was very good and everyone did like it. I did read the reviews about the sliding strawberries and of course like everyone else, thought, "oh no not mine I will make this and that wont happen to me". Well it did and it has to be the most frustrating part of making this cake because everything else went according to plan. The strawberries in the center at points broke through the side icing,I did fix it before putting on the table. The yogurt you add just gives moisture to the batter but does not change the flavor of the cake much. |

using cool whip instead of icing and mixing the yogurt in it makes it a better cake |

OMG!!! Super easy and tastes just wonderful. I agree with the others about running low on frosting, other then that absolutlely NO complaints, luv this recipes...thanks betty! |

I ate this cake for the first time this past weekend at a bridal shower and it was WONDERFUL! Light, moist, not too sweet; just right. And now I have the recipe myself! |

I made this cake for my roommates birthday yesterday, everyone loved it and it was very yummy!!! Every one loved the fresh strawberry's so maybe consider having a bowl of strawberry's on the side for your guests to have with there cake. |

This is the best cake I have ever tasted!I first tested this recipe out on my in-laws, it was among five or six desserts there, mine was the only one that was completely gone by the end of the night. I'm not much of a cake person but I had three slices myself! I made it for a school function and heard lots of people comment on how good it was. The second time I made it I did it a little different than the first time.
I sliced the strawberries to lay flat between the layers and halved the strawberries for the top and alternated the way the strawberries were positioned. Then I melted Ghirardelli milk chocolate and drizzled it on the top and sides. It was so good!! I'm making it again tonight for a birthday party tomorrow and don't expect to bring any leftovers home. |

This was very tasty, but I couldn't really taste the strawberry in the cake. I would maybe add more yogurt next time. And don't top with strawberries until just before serving because they melted my frosting and made a mess! |

I made this for easter and the whole family loved it. Alot of people went back for a second piece. I hardly had any left over and what i did have left over me and my boyfriend finished off later that night! |

This receipe is super easy & a HUGE hit at chuch dinners as well as at home. My husband is not a big fan of strawberries but he asked me to make this for his birthday. Sometimes I think this might be better than strawberry shortcake. |

I made this cake for my mom's wedding. I used 8 boxes of cake mix and made tapering hearts with the bottom one hollow in the middle and filled with strawberries like a bowl. It was a big project but everyone at the wedding said it was the best wedding cake they ever had! |

This cake is easy to make and it tastes great! I like the natural and subtle strawberry flavor of the yoghurt. I found that I really needed to buy 2 things of icing in order to make it look like the picture...just 1 was a little thin. |

This cake was a Hit! I made it for a co-worker's birthday and it was wonderful. But I added drizzled chocolate on top and it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry.. Highly recommend!! |

I made this cake in a hurry for a last minute BBQ invite. It was really easy and I got so many compliments! The yogurt definately makes the cake very moist. It's one of those cakes that you can make many changes to (diferent flavors & fruits)and it would still be great! Yummy!:) |

This cake was awesome. I made it for my older sons birthday. I had many comments of how good it was...requesting the receipe.Once the cake is completed, place in a cood area or the strawberries will slide off. other than that it was wonderful. |
