Surprisingly good...I read the prior reviews and incorporated several of the suggestions and was very pleased with the results. Hubby loved it and took the leftovers for lunch today! Appreciate a quick and easy fix that turns into a delicious meal. Definitely a keeper!

Been making this recipe for years now and have perfected it. I add 1/2 clove of garlic when browning my meat and onions. I used 1 cup of beef broth and 1 less cup of water. I just use a small can of corn drained and washed. I also use a can of green beans drained and washed. I use diced Italian Style tomatoes instead. I add 1/2 cup of milk to the mix to to thicken the soup up a bit. I season with Italian seasoning and garlic salt. We call it lasagna soup in my house or as my hubby and all his friends call it - the best soup ever. This recipe is perfect for any occassion - I even serve it up during our hot Texas summer nights but I never had any leftovers. FYI - this soup does not freeze well.

Terrific easy recipe. Seasoning was just a bit lacking for my taste or I would have given it top marks. Next time I'll spice it up a bit. Definite do again. If you prepare this with 93% lean beef, it has a Weight Watchers value of 3 pts per cup.

This was an easy meal to put together. My family loved it. Even my picky eaters. I did use diced tomatoes instead. The family was scrapping the bottom wanting more. This is a keeper.

LOVED IT! I read all the reviews before making it as I am not a "helper" fan. This was super easy, inexpensive and very tasty. I agree that whoever rated this bland probably forgot the seasoning packet. I did add extra veggies which made it toooooo thick, virtually no sauce. Oh and it made a TON. I took a huge bowl to my parents & stuck in their freezer. Highly recommend.

This soup was absolutely delicious. I replaced the whole tomatoes with diced, and omitted the corn and added extra zucchini instead. I highly recommend it, and already have to several people. I think the person that claimed it was bland must've left out the seasoning packet. This soup was far from bland.

My family loves this soup. I use a can of green beans instead of the zucchini and stewed tomatoes instead of whole. I don't drain the green beans but I reduce the water by a cup. I make this often

This recipe was awesome! I realized that I didn't have any more onions while I was cooking so I just used onion powder. Still tasted great. I also seasoned it up a bit with Italian Seasoned Salt. I bought this from Tastefully Simple but I'm sure you can find this at stores too. I'm definately going to be making this again. I told my husband that we might as well be eating at the "Olive Garden" with this dinner. Fabulous.

I made this soup and it was wonderful. My (very picky) adult son loved it. He even ate the leftovers (he never eats leftovers!). I was a little skeptical about the Hamburger Helper but the flavor was awesome. Mozzarella cheese is good on top along with the chips. I popped some Pillsbury French Bread in the oven and served it warm with the soup. Yummy! I will definitely make this again.

I doubled up the recipe since I was cooking for quite a few, I used Italian Sausage and since the store was out of Zucchini I used just a normal Cucumber, I also added half a tablespoon of White Pepper, it cam e out absolutely delicious. It did take just a bit longer considering having to cook the sausage, but it was well worth the wait!

My husband was not crazy about this recipe, but he's not a hamburger helper fan. The kids & I thought it was great. Will probably be a meal that's made when my husband's out of town, which is at least once a month. Thanks for a great recipe.

Did I miss something? I thought this recipe was very bland. I had to add garlic, italian spices, salt, pepper, more cheese and left over Ragu to have any taste to this soup.
