Comments: I used the ready made whipped topping.
Let two tubs or ready made whipped topping stand at room temp for about 30 mins. Add 2T instant coffee and 2T of the unsweetened baking cocoa and mix well. I did this while the cake was baking. Put the topping back in the freezer. Topped the cake after cooling. It was delish ! |

Comments: I really enjoyed this very light dessert. It is so easy
to make - sure dosen't take a lot of time. After reading
the comment below regarding the coffee sank to the bottom -
I did not have a problem with that. Maybe your coffee was
not "COLD". I measured my coffee and put it in the refrigerator to get cold before using it in the recipe. I
don't think the recipe would work as well if it was at room temperature. I did use 2 loaf pans 9-inch. So, it worked for me. |

Comments: Flavorful and light, great for my heart health-conscious dad. If the coffee sinks to the bottom (response to the post at the bottom) then my guess is your pan was too small (I had the same thing happen when I tried the cookies and cream angel food cake; all the oreos sank to the bottom and made a rubbery layer- -ick! One cake mix makes about 4 cakes of the 8 in loaf pan variety, 3 of the 8.5 in ones). |

Comments: I loved it. It wasn't overpowering with the coffee cake. For the adults try using a coffe liqour poured over the slices- yum! |

Comments: Everyone had seconds of this dessert! I did add 4 oz of cream cheese & 1 additional Ts. Cocoa to the topping, which gave it a little more flavor and depth. I will definately be making this again. This is a very nice and light dessert to pair with a heavier meal or for those who feel better about "low fat" ideas. |

Comments: The coffee sank to the bottom of the dish. When baking time was over, the bottom was mushy. Even after more time in the oven, the bottom part continued to remain mushy. I don't know why the coffee did not mix properly with the rest of the cake. Anyone else have this issue? |
