This was a home run. I often over-think and over-plan with underwhelming results. This simple and easy recipe was a huge hit. I am almost embarrassed by how much praise this easy-peasy no-effort dessert garnered. Some "lite" dessert topping and fresh berries on top (used frozen in the Jello) gave it a nice finish. No leftovers!

How simple and good is this?!?!?!?!?!!!! I made this quick and easy for a family picnic....but I made it in individual servings! Toppped it with a dash of whipped cream and made everyone happy! It occurred to me afterward that, if you were really pressed for time, you could use a store bought cake.

This turned out very well and was appreciated by my family. I used a store bought cake, and fresh raspberries. I also used regular raspberry jello. I cut the yogurt down to two cartons. I also added some whipped cream between the layers. It was yummy and the yogurt was not a problem at all.

I really liked the fresh flavors but didn't like the yogurt! It would be much better with 1/2 pkg. cream cheese and mashed berries folded with cool whip. Even a layer of pudding would also help.

Is was easy to make, and looked so pretty in a glass bowl. It's a dessert you would feel good about bring to someones house.

I love the idea of this but did not like the yogurt at all! Next time, I will use Cool Whip instead. I like that is simple and the raspberries are a nice change from strawberries.

Yuck. This dessert is too sweet and lacks substance to balance its overpowering sweetness. The yogurt seems like a good idea, but it does not go well. It tastes like somebody got really desperate to make a trifle that you could eat on a diet. Blech! However, if you are on a diet and are desperate, go for it.

Awesome. This is a Weight Watcher's 44 point dessert, serves 16, so 3 points per serving. I use fresh strawberries, fat free strawberry yogurt and include a layer of fat free cool whip on both layers. Save some pretty strawberries to dress the top. And I make the Betty Crocker Angel Food cake from the mix. It's better than what you get from a store. My group never gets tired of this. Awesome display of an unusually easy recipe.

This is sooo easy! I substituted the vanilla pudding in place of the yogurt and it was SPECTACULAR TOO! You can't go wrong with this recipe!

I love this! Everyone always loves the presentation and it lives up to its beauty. I mix 4 yogurts with about 1/2 of a pkg of Cool whip instead of the yogurt alone. It gives it a slightly more sweetness. The raspberries can be a little tart.

Mine turned out fantastic!!! I didn't use sweetened raspberries, but the recipe didn't need it. This recipe makes me feel like a fancy cook, even though it was simple to make.

I've been making this and now it's on this website. How good it is. Make the angel food cake one day so it's ready from the freezer when you put the dessert together, on another day! Convenient. easy, quick, very attractive dessert. Choose the fruit of your choice. I have done raspberry and strawberry. Yum-oh!!

This dessert was fabulous! I did, however, make a few modifications to make it even better. First, buy an already made large angel food cake. Saves you alot of time and work. Second, I found I had to let my jello sit for about 1 hour until it thickened. And thirdly, if you want it to be even more delicious, add a layer of Cool Whip to the middle and top of the trifle. I think this dessert is best with Cool Whip, because you can't have a trifle without Cool Whip! I highly recommend this dessert!

I brought this to a friends house for a Southern Living at home party and received many oohs and aahs when I walked in the door. People said "You really MADE that yourself". It's really a beautiful dessert and it doens't taste like it's low in fat at all. I had to leave without my dish because the guests were enjoying it so much. I would make this again. I decorated the top with some fresh raspberries and some slivered almonds. It's really easy to make, fun too.

This is such a wonderful & easy dessert. My 10 yr.old daughter makes this with her great grandma. Now we make it for any pot luck function we go to because it is so tasty and not overly sweet. We have substituted with strawberries and it is just as good.

I made this cake for Memorial weekend and it was such a hit! I have 2 year old twins (picky eaters who hate fruit!) and they couldn't get enough. I wish I could post a pic of them with faces covered in raspberries and yogurt. I added strawberry whipcream on top (piped it on top). Another change is that I did not use sweetened raspberries (used fresh fruit instead) and used Dannon LaCreme yogurt (raspberry flavor) which has plenty of sugar so you don't really need more sugar. I agree with the other reviewer in that presentation is key for this dessert. I used a large glass bowl and it shows off the layers so nicely. This is a great spring/summer dessert. I plan to make it again for 4th of July and use blueberries, raspberries and vanilla yogurt in the layering to give it a patriotic look! Thanks, Betty Crocker :)

I first made this recipe last summer and my dieting friend loved it. She now has taken it to several "potlucks," and people always ask for the recipe. It makes a nice presentation using a glass bowl as shown.
