Comments: I did do a few things different to this. I used fat free cool whip and store bought angel food cake. Then instead of heath or skore candy bars I used the heath toffee bits that you can get in the baking isle. That way I didn't have to chop it up. Then I got some separate chocolate bars and chopped that up fine. It turned out great! My husband was weary at first but the looks of it but now he can't get enough of it. And we don't feel guilty about indulging a little bit with it! |

Comments: I did not care for this recipe. The taste was okay but the texture was soggy and it certainly did not make 16 serving. It is not one that I will make again. |

Comments: I made the Angel Toffee Dessert for my gathering yesterday. I had l2 people as we played bridge. I served it with Iced Tea. It was so easy to make which gave me more time to prepare for my company. Everyone loved it-it was so appropriate for such a warm day. I ended up giving out the recipe- -thanks- -Gloria |

Comments: This is a family favorite. I make it with a store bought angel food cake, plus fat free whipped topping and low fat candy, bringing it down to 187 calories per 12 servings.Beware, though, that this cake is about half as thick as pictured - I think the pictured recipe was a double batch. But it is SO good you will love it! |

Comments: This is very similar to a recipe I grew up with. My mom would cut the top off the angel food cake, scoop out a trench, fill the trench with the Heath Bar/topping combination and then put the top back on. Then she would ice the cake with the rest of the topping mixture. She would then refrigerate the cake, not freeze it.We kids would get to eat the scooped out angel food cake pieces. This was one of my favorite deserts growing up. |

Comments: I was making this for my boss' birthday, and thought it looked easy and tasty. I don't know what happened, but my finished product looked about 1/2 as high as the picture above (only about 1 inch deep in a 13x9 pan). I just hope it tastes better than it looks, because I don't have time to make anything else before tomorrow! Definitely wouldn't produce 16 servings like the recipe said! I'm a good cook, but I think I should have stuck to my tried and true recipes this time! |

Comments: I have been making this recipe for five years. It is so easy and delicious. I use toffee bits and mini chocolate chips when i make it. I always have an empty pan. |
