I made the cake and I beat it for the suggested 4 minutes at what I felt was medium speed on my mixer and it turn out flat...I told a friend my story and before I finished she said you beat it too long. The flavor of the cake was wonderful and will make another one today to see if the beating time was the problem..wish me luck. |

I made this for my daughters 10b-day and everyone seemed to like. The cake was very good but for me the topping could of been a little bit sweeter. very easy to make will make again. |

This recipe was very simple and my daughter and I both loved it. Very refreshing, simple dessert. The cake itself was very good and the frosting could not be any easier. I felt reluctant about using so much sour cream for the frosting but it really tastes good with the brown sugar mixed in with strawberries. I will absolutely make this again. |
