Comments: I have been trying out some healthier versions of the good old "P.B. and J" and I really like this one, except I had to modify it a bit. The raisin bread was a great idea and went over very well with my kids But the lettuce wasn't happening, they both pulled it out right away! I changed "preserve/mustard combo" to fresh strawberries (sliced thin) and they loved that and sometimes we use banana's, too! Instead of chips, I serve it with sliced cheddar cheese sticks! It is a good recipe to put your own spin on, you should try it. |
