This recipe for roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding is a family Christmas Eve tradition. When your son got married last year, he asked for this recipe to be given to his finace at her bridal shower(we were all to bring a family favorite recipe). Our daughter,a teacher, and her husband who is in the Air Force,called from Japan to ask specifically for this recipe to cook for some of the troopers. We all love it and now the grandchildren know that this is a Chrismas Eve traditions. |

This is the simple recipe I've used at Christmas for over ten years. It's traditional, hearty, and everyone loves it. I make various sauces (I.e., white peppercorn, horseradish, mushroom gravy) and serve on the side.It's a no-brainer. |
