Comments: I found this recipe easy to prepare, but it could taste much better if frozen vegetables were exchanged for fresh vegetables which have been pre-cooked before adding to the mixture. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good. |

Comments: this was really simply and easy. i tried it and liked it; however, it needs more soup to make it creamier. i also used the tips from here to spice up the chicken first. it was really good. i also put cheese in the crust, yummy |

Comments: I have been serving this for about 6 years. My entire family from great aunt to toddler granddaughter LOVES it. I do double the recipe, and add an extra can of mushroon or cream of chicken soup. Do try with a little thyme and garlic powder. Happy cooking! |

Comments: Quite bland, admittedly I did use a can of chicken to make the recipe a little quicker and easier; but the meal was lacking any serious flavor. Maybe I'll retry it sometime w/ some of the other suggestions. |

Comments: My boyfriend LOVES chicken pot pie, so when I saw this recipe, I had to try it! Since I had fresh carrots, celery, onions, garlic, mushrooms and green beans on hand, I decided to use those (after I steam them for a little while) instead of the frozen veggies. I also added 2 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup, and seasoned everything with salt, pepper, sage and thyme. I also tripled the amount of the bisquick that was used for the top of the pot pie. THIS WAS AMAZING! My boyfriend had 3 large helpings! I will definitely keep this recipe on hand and make it again!!! |

Comments: I have made this pot pie several times and for a quick and easy dinner, it's very good. Several times I substituted turkey with leftover turkey from Thanksgiving, which is also very good. I also have substituted canned veggies--the mixed variety that have potatoes in them--and I like it better with them as opposed to frozen veggies. |

Comments: This was really bland and I ended up tossing the entire dish after making it. Using suggestions from others, I first mircrowaved the veggies (I also added onions and celery) to soften them. However, they still were kind of tough after the pie was baked. The chicken, which was cooked to perfection, came out dry and tough after being baked in the pie. I also added some potatoes, salt/pepper, fresh rosemary, and fresh parsley and everything was still bland. What a waste. |

Comments: I wish I had seen this years ago. we love chicken pot pie, this is so easy! I used 1 can cream of chicken, and 1 can cream of mushroom, used frozen mixed veggies, and added a little MrsDASH seasoning. I might try refrig.premade pie crust next time for flaky top & bottom crust, but this was great to use what I had on hand! I cooked chicken tenders, cut up, and worked out great! You can really use your imagination for all kinds of combinations for this one :) THANKS! |

Comments: I really enjoyed this recipe. It was quick and easy. I added some thyme as suggested, pre-cooked the frozen vegetables for about 3 minutes before adding them to the recipe and added some grated mild cheddar cheese to the top of the bisquick before popping into the oven. My family said I can make it again! |

Comments: This is so easy and quick. It's a great way to use up leftover chicken. I've also used Turkey and Roast Beef. With the beef, I add a tablespoon or so of Worcestershire. My husband asks for it often. |

Comments: I improvised because I didn't have any frozen vegetables. I cooked my own potatoes, carrots, celery and onion in the microwave for 10 minutes. I added canned green beans and peas, doubled the recipe and baked it in a 9 X 13 glass baking dish. The crust was perfect. My husband said I could made this anytime. We both loved it and the fresh veggies added a great flavor. |

Comments: I love this recipe, it is soo easy, my Mom made it once and now we change it up by using italian vegie mix every now and then and such and my Hubby thinks it is the best. I love how easy it is. I can cook up chicken in advance and package it in fridge or freeze then use what I need. Thanks again you are always an extra hand in the kitchen |

Comments: I use tuna sometimes instead of chicken, and always change up the veggies. Plus, I ALWAYS need to add milk (about 1/4-1/2 cup) tomake the pie work. No matter what, my family always loves it! Plus, sometimes I add dill to the crust mix or cheese or all-seasoning stuff to the mix. Never seems to matter; they always eat it all. |

Comments: I fix this when I'm short on time. Sometimes I use canned chicken when I can't take the time to cook the breasts and it works just as well.
However, the crust is mushy if there are leftovers the next day. |
