We add strawberries and omit the parsley and celery (picky eaters in the family). Plus the strawberries add such a beautiful color to the dish making it that more enticing to try. It tastes great and I always receive compliments from guests. It's a great versatile salad and compliments many meals.

I made this salad for Thanksgiving this year and it was wonderful. Made almonds and dressing the day before and only had to toss every thing together at the last minute. Will make again.

this is a pretty, light and easy-to-make ahead salad. You can do the almonds ahead, as long as they stay crisp.Baby Spinach is a deeper green and add extra flavor and color
