Comments: I read some reviews.I would be willing to be those who had problems have little experience frying.Either the oil got too hot or it sounds like someone covered it with a lid. Both of which are no brainers and not the recipes fault. One said not to have kids help with this.I guess I am in the minority as I never let kids help where hot oil and liquids are concerned. But thats me. If you follow the directions or look for oil safety tips you should have no problems. |

Comments: These things came out great! Even though you have to put a lot of cinnamon sugar on to get the cinnamon taste to it, when they are warm and right off the stove, they a delicious. I brought them into my Spanish class for a treat and everyone loved them. They loved the chocolate dipped ones too. They were a hit! |

Comments: I have issues with this recipe because I don't believe the oil used for frying is included in the nutritional info. I know it's hard to calculate how much oil is absorbed but still!
Other than that, these were pretty good. You can use Splenda in place of the sugar too! |

Comments: Wow! What can I say about these churros? "Muy bueno" is what my husband said and he's Mexican. Enjoy these churros with a cup of Mexican Hot Chocolate and you've got yourself an "authentic" Mexican dessert. |

Comments: Muy Rico & Facil!! These are so easy to make. We tried to make them on the stove & in an electric skillet. Both ways are ok, but on the stove, you don't have much control over the heat. This causes the oil to smoke. Very hard to make on an electric stove. We will definitely be making this again. We added the vanilla they tasted autentico.!! |

Comments: Using an electric skillet will allow you to contol the heat of your oil so that your kitchens don't go up in smoke. Also, if you have a pastry tip you can use it in a zip top bag and pipe the dough into the oil. That way you'll have nice decorations if you want them. |

Comments: This recipe is great! It's the closest thing my family has found to authentic Mexican Churros. If you don't have a pastry bag or star tip, try this: put the dough in a ziplock bag and cut one of the bottom corners off - squeeze the dough through the hole GENTLY. The only difference is that you won't have the ridges. |

Comments: Muy bueno! We added a teaspoon of vanilla to the batter and they were absolutely delicious! Very easy to make. If your kitchen was smoking and almost on fire than you simply got the oil way to hot, try using a thermometer for frying next time. I will definately make these again. |

Comments: I have read some of the previous reviews talking about their house being full of smoke and almosst on fire if this is so I believe you have let the oil get way to hot! This recipe, should be extreamly easy and fun to do with the kids. The inital outcome is the most best tasting fried pastries that there is. I enjoyed making them, and would have to agree that the only down fall is all the weight you can put on from eating all of the Churros! |

Comments: Churros are just soooooooooo amazing. Their taste was unbeliveable. Everyone should bake these for themself because they were just totaly awesome. The only problem with them is that they can get me to weigh 10 more pounds. So, anyway, bye, bye, have fun baking these. I am going on vacation to Idaho, I love the mountains. |
