Comments: I am always looking for ways to use left over Rotiessire Chicken. This was very good, but next time I will cut the Bisquick to 1/2 cup. 1 cup made it a little dry. We also used salsa on top making it even better. Yes we are great fans of Impossible Pies. |

Comments: I made this the ither night and it was gone in about 10 minutes. I have to feed 4 hungry young adults so his is what I did.
3 lbs boneless chicken cut up
2 pkg taco seasoning
1 tsp onion powder (onion hater in the house)
2 tbsp oil for frying
6 eggs
3 cups milk
3 cups Bisquick
2 lbs shredded Jack cheese
2-10 inch cake pans or 1 large roasting pan, greased
I sauteed the chicken, oil and onion powder in a skillet. When the chicken is almost done I add one package of taco seasoning and stirred a minute or two. Divide the chicken into the 2 pans or pour into the one roaster. Beat eggs, milk, Bisquick and the other taco seasoning until it is smooth. Spread The cheese over the chicken and pour the batter evenly over the chicken cheese mixture. Bake for about 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees F or until tested done. |

Comments: I think this recipe is a good BASE, but I definately recommend making it "your own." I used both chicken and ground beef (1/2 and 1/2)which was a success. There's a LOT of dough on top, a little much for me. I suggest, seriously, cutting that part in 1/2. But it tasted pretty good! |

Comments: This recipe sounded great, but unfortunately it wasn't a hit with my husband and I didn't love it either. It's probably because I prepared it with ground white turkey instead of chicken. I always use ground turkey when making traditional tacos because it is lean and holds taco seasoning flavor well. I also added crushed tortilla chips on top which added a great crunch, as others suggested. Overall, it just wasn't flavorful enough for our tastes. |

Comments: Very good but definitely needed the extra crunch...we added tortilla chips to the top during the additional cheese baking time. We also spiced up our chicken a bit...I first cooked with with taco sauce and then added the taco seasoning and then to the baking dish...it was delicious! |

Comments: I used leftover Thanksgiving turkey instead of chicken and it was great and very easy. I served corn as a side dish and ended up mixing it all together, next time I think we'll just add corn to the mixture to add even more flavor to this pie. Definitely a keeper! |

Comments: It was easy to make and quite tasty. I guess I'm more use to that crunchy texture when it comes to tacos so next time I might sprinkle some slightly crushed tortilla chips when I add the cheese. ;) |

Comments: Will definetly make again - got a thumbs up from entire family. I used turkey, mexican blend shredded cheese and increased the taco seasoning as mentioned earlier. It is great because servings can be jazzed up according to individuals liking - as is for the youngest, or the various toppings of sour cream, hot sauce, quac, etc. Clean plates all around!! |

Comments: I made the Impossible Chicken Taco Pie a few nights ago and both my husband and twenty-year old son asked for seconds!! I made a few substitutions to make it lighter by using skim milk, reduced fat Bisquick, and light shredded cheddar cheese. I also used rotisserie chicken, light and dark meat and added 1/4 tsp ground black pepper to the filling. Then I took another reviewer's advice and added 1 tsp taco seasoning to the Bisquick topping. It was perfect and very tasty. I have already shared this recipe with my family and friends and it will be enjoyed often!! |

Comments: This is an easy enough recipe, but is lacking something. I added extra taco seasoning but it had little or no flavor until I put salsa & sour cream on top. It could have used some crunchy corn as well. I think it would also be good with some jalapenos and perhaps topped with guacamole. In addition, I may substitute pepper jack for at least half the cheddar cheese. I was satisfied, and it was a healthy enough meal (I used the lowfat Bisquick and skim milk in the recipe). It just has little flavor if you just follow the recipe. By the way, I used pulled chicken from a store-bought rotisserie chicken. Be careful if you add anything extra, you may overflow the pan. You may want to use a pot pie pan on the side for about one-sixth of the pie. It would be a better fit and when you add the cheese it won't go over the edge. |

Comments: I made this tonight for my family. My husband liked it a lot, but most of all, my kids ate it! My son is VERY picky, especially if it tastes healthy. This is healthy and he ate a whole slice of it. I suggest more taco seasoning, and it definently needs something to dip it in- sour cream and salsa.Yum, I definently recommend this! |

Comments: This is extremely easy to make and it is so delicious. I made it for my uncle and his new wife while i was in South Carolina visiting them and they loved it. I taught her how to make it because it was so easy. She is an awesome cook, but loved how easy this recipe was. |
