Comments: This is a wonderful low-fat cake. A favorite around here. Love that almond/cherry flavor! |

Comments: I really liked the flavor of this cake. But be careful to evenly distribute the cherries and chop them finely enough so they don't all sink. |

Comments: Delicious! Made this cake for Easter dinner. Everyone
loved it. Frosting is very good...except I added
more cherry juice to thin the frosting into a glaze.
Then I spooned the glaze around the edge of the cake
first..to let the glaze run down the side. Then
continued to glaze top of cake. The cake turned
out picture perfect. Will definately be making this
again.
Do not put this cake in a cake saver or under glass!
The cake becomes too moist and the top will start
to sink. I covered cake loosely with foil..and
glazed a few hours before serving. |

Comments: We liked the cake very much. Did not care for the frosting on it just a little to sweet for us. I will make it again but without the frosting. |

Comments: I have made this recipe 3 times in the past year. It is always a hit, and I really enjoy "cleaning" the icing bowl after I have put the icing on the cake!! |

Comments: Made this for a family get-to-gether. My Uncle who never eats desserts had three pieces! That made it a keeper for me. |

Comments: The first try really turned out great. I made for a potluck and there were no leftovers. I will look forward to making again. The only drawback is the glaze portion of the recipe. There is no way you are going to just add 4 tablespoons of liquid to 2 cups of powdered sugar and expect it to pour. |
