This was an excellent starting point recipe. I absolutely loved the almost-salty flavor the Bisquick crust adds. I layered mine as such: crust, banana slices, toasted coconut, pudding, banana slices, toasted coconut, whipped cream, pinch of toasted coconut. I will definitely make this again.

I've made this a couple of times and I noticed that if you make it early in the day the flavor of the bananas seem to get into the pudding and it taste just like banana cream pie. I do agree the crust is a little thick I ethier use less or a larger pan.

We have dessert night twice a week and my daughter picks this almost every time. We've played around with the pudding and our favorite is to also add a layer of chocolate or pistachio. In addition to the bananas I also sprinkle with nuts. I also use a small amount of banana extract in the pudding. Love the recipe but like most we need to tweak it to make it match our tastes.

I also like to put a thin layer of sliced bananas right on the crust under the pudding. Yum!!!

My husband and I thought it was very good, just not enough banana flavor to call it a banana coconut dessert. Good start for me though, 'cause I can work on it. Thanks

I recently made this dessert and it was a big hit with my family. I had some leftover bananas and came across this recipe..very easy to make and delicious! I also gave some to my neighbor, and he commented that this was better than the banana cream pie he gets at the diner. I will definaltely be making this again.

Everytime I make this it is a hit. I use a larger pan (9x11) so the crust is not as thick and you get a couple more servings! This, and the Impossible Coconut Cream Pie are my 2 favorite desserts!

This recipe has good potential, but we found it sort of tasteless. The crust did not compliment the banana and whip cream mixture. I was disappointed in it.

since i recieved this recipe i have made it over& over again. the family loves it. but the crust was too sweet. so i use 1 & half teaspoons of splenda in the bisquick for the crust instead of 2 tablespoons sugar. that way it's too sweet. and i use the sugar-free cool whip and sugar-free pudden.

I read the reviews and suggestions and made a larger 9x12 as well as a sugar-free 9x9 for my recent family reunion. What a hit. I won first place in the desert contest. One of my kids asked why I didn't make this for them at home. Since then I've made it again for just my family. Everyone loves it. I'm greatful for another great reciept BettyCrocker!

This recipe is a more traditional, yet innovative style of easy dessert. It is traditional, in that the crust is very similar to the traditional cheesecake crust, more like a cookie. Adding lime or lemon zest to the crust would give it another layer of flavor...probably lime to put in the coconut :)The Banana Coconut dessert is innovative in its use of quick ingredients. Make this dessert first, and then the rest of your meal. By the time you are finished with your meal, your dessert will be ready to eat.

I gave it a 3 because my family did not like the crust. They said it tasted like a cookie. Next time I will use a different crust.

A true "Make Again"! For a diabetic friend, will adjust the recipe using the following additional ingredients: low fat Bisquick, toasted pecan bits, flax seed meal and Splenda for the crust; sugar-free chocolate pudding and sugar free Cool Whip for the filling and topping. The toasted coconut on top will be a little treat!
