I use this a lot for Holiday parties and people are always asking me how I did it. One lady wanted an hands on demonstration so she could make it for her grandchildren. I misplaced the receipe one year and everyone wanted to know where were the penguins and igloo.

I made this delightful recipe for a Christmas Open House a few years ago. (Have used it many times since.) A couple of ladies from church came in the door, looked at the table, and said, "Oh look, black snowmen." Try to keep a straight face in that situation. They were serious and I was seriously thinking about excusing myself to somewhere that I could laugh. Consequently, the penguins have always been "Black Snowmen" to my best friends.

I did this for a Holiday cocktail party! Everyone thought it was so cute! And tasty as well. We enjoyed it very much and give it a 5="the Best" for both flavor & presentation!

I am delighted to find you have created a "home" for the penguins you published in your Christmas book. I have made them twice since someone brought them to an artists" Christmas party. They have been the hit of party food each time. They are, as you say, time consuming to make but well worth the effort. I hope they will be as well received at the book club meeting, later this month, when I pair them with the igloo.

I made this recipe for our company Christmas pot-luck. It was a big hit. Not only did the cheese spread taste good but everyone was asking how did I make the penguins! It was time consuming to make but worth the festive air it gave to the pot-luck.
