I made this soup and it reminds me of how a classic chicken noodle soup should be. It has a warm, comforting taste and the gemelli noodles are a fun touch! I also love how simple it is to make. It is a wonderful marriage of simple and delicious!

Very delicious soup. I have never made my own homemade chicken soup, so this was a great easy recipe to try. The only thing is it seemed to not have enough broth, next time I will add another can of chicken broth to it.

Good enough my toddlers who had colds ate it! Not quite as quick as I thought to make. Taste was okay (the only difference I made up to this point is adding a can of mushrooms), so I decided to add 1 teaspoon vegeta seasoning, as well as 1 teaspoon all spice. This made it better. I'm going to add diced potatoes next time I make this soup.

I have made this many times with many variations. I have thickened it by adding canned diced potatoes and made it into a chicken stew. Also I have "quickened" the cook time by using canned veggies. I received the red cookbook for a wedding gift in 1976 and at this point in time, it is literally falling apart. It is the only cookbook I use.

I enjoyed this soup, it was so fast and easy to make my family thought that I spent all day cooking this.

Great recipe. I did add mushrooms for more vegetables though.

Tasty, loaded with what's good for you, and satisfies your never-ending search for the best chicken soup that helps stay you healthy. I would add potatoes or put soup over mashed potatoes for that extra yummmm.
