This was a very cute idea and I will be doing this again; however, not the same recipe. The recipe made alot and it was bland. I loved the idea of shaping this into the Christmas tree. That was a big hit at our family Christmas.

These Christmas Cheese Trees were a hit at our family Christmas Eve get together. Received many comments on how decorative they were and how good they tasted. I actually had fun decorating them just for my own enjoyment. You could also split them down the middle to have the two different flavors in one tree. You can give one and keep one for yourselves. Thanks for a great new recipe!

Made this for a Christmas in July party and it was a hit. Both trees went really well. I personally thought the pesto one had too much pesto in it, and will probably half it next time i make it. People could not stop eating it! Definitely a make again recipe!!!

This was a little much, I would suggest doing one tree, and placing the rest in a dish. People were so impressed by the display, that they were wary to dig right in. I did the digging for them, so they wouldn't feel bad. The flavor was wonderful, and I especially loved the pesto one. Great with Ritz!

Easy recipe with lots of visual 'wow'! -I used some of the cheese spread to make crackers to set around the tree (decorated with parsly and red bell peppers).-You might want to make it spicier than the recipe. It is rather bland as is.-I should have used a template to cut out the stars. Also I wish I had left a stalk (or tail) on the star to better secure it to the tree.-Someone suggested making a double recipe to create a BIG tree, then using grape or cherry tomatoes for ornaments.

I am confused. What holiday tree is this? Is this for the Fourth of July?
