Comments: I made these cookies this morning after I had read all of the reviews. These are fantastic cookies, I will be making them again. They were so easy and came out perfect. I did double the recipe with the anticipation that everyone was right. Boy I am sure glad I did.
I will be making these again definitly for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. |

Comments: I learned how to make these cookies from my grandmother over 25 years ago. These are Christmas cookie staples and have a long history in our family. They where even used as my wedding day favors (4 cookies wrapped in a little white box with a crimson red ribbon...beautiful). We have always called them Mexican Wedding Cookies but as they say "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
I can't wait to help my mother teach my little one how to make them and continue our tradition. |

Comments: These are the best Christmas Cookies Ever!!!
I can't imagine a Christmas without them!
Way easy to make and not that many ingredients so they are a breeze and a major hit in the home or office! |

Comments: I just baked my 1st Cristmas cookie batch for this year last week and decided to try a couple of new recipes, including the Russian Tea Cakes. They were so very easy to make. And my husband (who is, supposedly, The Biggest chocolate chip cookie fan ;D) is now in love with them. They are absolutely delicious and melt-in-your-mouth. The only bad thing is that I didn't bake enough of them, so now I have to make more. Oh, well... what can you do. LOL This recipe is definitely The Keeper! Thank you, Betty! |

Comments: This is one of my favorite desserts! I just made them with my mom at Thanksgiving. And will definitely make them again at Christmas. They are so easy to grab on your way through the kitchen, almost makes you eat too many of them. I agree with doubling the recipe, you don't get all that many out of the original. |

Comments: This was very easy and very tasty! I only got 2 dozen though, so double the recipe for 4 dozen (I rolled them a little big though, 1-1 1/2 inch balls, so maybe that's why I got less). Definite family pleaser! :) |

Comments: I made the these tea cakes but added a hershey kiss in the middle of each one. First I gave my kids the tea cakes that didn't have the hershey kiss, but when I gave them one with it they eyes just widened open. And everyone ones that if the kids love them so will everyone else. |

Comments: Please note - if you omit the nuts from the recipe (for those with allergies) you MUST increase the amount of flour you use or your "balls" will flatten into "discs" when baking. My grandmother made these cookies when she came to the United States from Serbia - they have been a Christmas pillar since! |

Comments: I just made these cookies yesterday. Talk about easy! The only bad thing about these cookies is, that I had a full house when I was baking them and they were gone as soon as I finished them!!! My kids are already asking me to bake another batch! |

Comments: Mmmm...so yummy! The only thing that makes these better is a Hersey's Kiss in the middle. It takes a little while to unwrap them all, but well worth the effort, and a good job for the kids. My favorite cookie! |

Comments: I would suggest you double the recipe. The single recipe doesn't make 4 dozen as it says. Unless they're making very small balls.
If you haven't tried these, please do! They are wonderful and an old family favorite. It's hard not to eat them all before I give them away to family and friends. They always ask why I don't make more. |

Comments: These cookies are wonderful, and the memories you make preparing them are even better! I made these with my mom in the kitchen from the time I was very young, and my 4 year old son helps me now. If you have little helpers, they can chop the nuts (w/ supervision) using a food chopper ike the Pampered Chef one and help mix and roll the dough. So simple, melt-in-your-mouth cookies! |
