This is good but the veggies didn't cook in the time the recipe stated. We had to put our plates in the micro to finish them after biting into cold veggies. Next time, I will use thawed or canned veggies. Other than that, it was tasty.

This was... SO GOOD! Oh my god, just absolutely delicious. I used 1 can of chicken gravy, 1 can of C. of Mushroom, added some chicken broth (since I used breasts instead of thighs) and some garlic salt+powder. DELICIOUS (and easy, too!)

I found this recipe late this afternoon so I didn't have time to use my slow cooker but it works just great on the stove top. I used boneless breasts instead of thighs (don't like thighs!) and frozen buttermilk biscuits. Very quick and easy and my picky husband loved it! We'll definitely be making this one again!

I admit that I added just a few things to the recipe when making it. A bit of poultry seasoning, a can of cream of mushroom soup, some dried thyme...however, I mostly followed the recipe as it was written. It turned out very nice and we loved it! When making the biscuits, I added some dried thyme to them, as well. A nice dinner without a lot of fuss!

Recipe as it calls was bland. My hubby wouldn't eat and he eats almost anything. I added cream chicken and cream mushroom soup, some onion, egg noodles and cheese and it did make a great casserole.

We love the homemade taste of this recipe. I am in my sixties, and more than 50 years ago, I was taught to cook from scratch by my mother and grandmothers, but I will give in to using a crock pot now and then. I followed the recipe (I even bought a couple of the jarred gravy), added some extra seasonings, and this dish tasted just like it came out of an old-fashioned oven. The mixture also freezes well for future use. I read some of the reviews that stated the dish tasted bland. It's easy to jazz it up by adding extra seasonings, meat, or veggies, or anything the family enjoys. This dish is a staple for cold winter days in our household. I give it five spoons!

If I even think about making this there would be some changes. Chicken breasts instead of chicken thighs (why do so many recipes call for thigh meat.Yuck) And no gravy from a jar!

This receipe is great - I substituted 1.25 lbs of breast cutlets and 1 family size can of cream of chicken plus 1 cup broth instead of the jar gravy (my husband nor I like it). Also baked round cresent rolls instaed of making bisquits. My husband went back for 3rds!! Froze the left over chicken mixture in quart bags. A few weeks later we just reheated and baked more bisquits. Just as good as the first time.

We were not impressed with this recipe. It was very bland. I think it would have been better with another jar of gravy, and some extra seasonings.

My husband is not a picky eater, will eat anything put in front of him. He did not like this dish at all. It was very blah. My kids also did not like it.

Have not tried it yet, but when I do I will let you know it went over. My girls love frozen pot pie so hopefully this will be a healthier substitute.

I made this for company, and we all loved it. It is easy to dump everything in the crock pot and make the buscuits just before hand.
