I made this recipe for a birthday celebration for a fellow collegue. I used chocolate and vanilla ice cream instead of the cherry, all vanilla ice cream and other various flavors depending on personal taste. Everyone raved about it. Now, I have to make it for every birthday at work! I made two this weekend for upcoming birthdays and froze them. They are so easy to make and taste better than anything you can buy in the freezer section of your grocery store. One of the best recipes! |

I made this for my husband's birthday cake. It is delicious and easy to make. I think you could just as well use different ice creams and perhaps different flavored sandwich cookies and it would be good also. I'm thinking up a "tropical" one for summer with pineapple sherbet and vanilla flavored cookies and maybe coconut and slivered almonds. |

This recipe tasted great and was surprisingly easy to make! I would definitly make this again and maybe switch up the flavors to make different variations. |
