Comments: I have made this cake twice now and everybody LOVES it! My husband and sons fight over the last piece and Friends at work are anxious for the recipe. I agree with the other reviewer, much easier than dipping ladyfingers, etc. This is a great cake!!! |

Comments: I baked this yesterday afternoon, put it in the fridge and about 18 hours tried a piece of it. I liked it very much. I thought it was much easier than trying to slice ladyfingers in half and soaking them as I had tried before. We, too, talked about using some kind of Kahula mixture to pour over the cake instead of the coffee mixture. Anyway, the original recipe was a winner! Thank you. |

Comments: I thought this was just passable. Nothing special and won't make this again. I followed the directions exactly. The cake fell too much and the coffee mixture didn't soak in enough, even though I poked the hack out of it. I ate it but nothing great. |

Comments: If i could describe this in only 3 words it would be Mmm Mmmm Mmm! I did change the recipe to things i had on hand. I used rum instead of brandy and coffee granules instead of esspresso. It was SUPER FANTASTIC!! I totally cheated on my diet 3x for this, yah it was that good. |

Comments: This is delicious! The only change I might make is to try using Kahlua instead of brandy; but I imagine the Betty Crocker test kitchen already tried it when the recipe was developed. Still...And the only criticism I have is that the Espresso syrup is almost bitter. It's not sweet, so I might try it with more corn syrup and less Espresso powder next time I make it. |
