My family hated this recipe. I agree with Teresa48 that it would have been much better over Spanish rice. In my husbands words "bland bean mixture over a bed of saw dust."

This recipe is as easy as pie. Flavor was awesome. My kids loved it, even my 2yo picky eater. The couscous was a perfect match. The only thing I would recommend is using breaded chicken strips. I do know that next time I have to double the recipe because it's not enough to feed my family of 5. I have never ate black beans before and it was definitely a great 1st experience. This will be in our menu planner at least once a month.

This is a great receipe however I wouldn't use couscous next time. I think it would be better with spanish rice instead

This was really good!! Will definitely make it again. I added some Adobo and a half packet of sazon to spice it up a bit.
