Comments: My first attempt at baking this cake is still cooling on the rack... however, as I had trouble getting it out of the pan in one piece I had the opportunity to taste some of the little chunks that stuck to the pan. (Well, what's a girl to do? If they won't stick back onto the cake, they won't stick... so I ate 'em!). Live and learn - next time (and there WILL be a next time) I'll remember to run a plastic knife along the edge to make sure it's completely un-adhered to the pan. Not only did this cake smell absolutely divine while it was baking, the maple flavour is just right. Not too subtle and not too strong. The only thing I did differently was that I didn't toast the pecans (I'm too lazy), and I didn't have enough for 1/2 cup, but otherwise the rest of it was followed to the letter. I very much look forward to sharing this cake tomorrow with my boyfriend when we have our "Late Thanksgiving" dinner after church. Dear friends and neighbours across the street will also benefit from this baking endeavour! |

Comments: Very good taste! Smelled divine when baking! Only problem was I couldn't get my bundt cake out. It still tasted great, just didn't look pretty. |

Comments: I cooked this cake for a country church luncheon. Lots of home cooking, everyone wanted my recipe!! The only change I made was used real Maple Syrup and no frosting. My husband has asked for it twice since then and I was happy to make another. Also, makes great muffins for breakfast. |

Comments: I had never made a bundt cake before. This one was out of this world!! I made it with the butter-pecan cake mix instead of the yellow cake mix, it tasted so good, I had to make two in one day!!!! I have never done that before!!! The frosting was awesome, but to add some professional looking touch, I sprinkled the top of the frosted cake with finely chopped pecans. It looked like I bought it some where!!!! |

Comments: instead of yellow cake, I used french vanilla. I used egg beaters instead of real eggs,I melted the butter, but only by mistake- but the cake turned out awersome anyway! I put in 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and glazed the cake with maple syrup, powdered sugar and a little milk- it turned out wonderful. Will make again using my alterations, and will use a chopped apple. What a great recipe!! |

Comments: This is a great tasting cake and really easy to make. Ohhhs and ahhhs is what I received when my guests ate this cake. I used sugar free syrup and it was delicious and cut some calories out but not taste. If you want to impress your guests, I highly recommend this easy yet delicious cake. The pecan pieces in the batter added to the wonderful taste. 5 stars for this one.***** |

Comments: This was so good, i thought it was going to be way to sweet, but the pecans really added that savory flavor. |
