Comments: Yum this was really good! I made a couple adjustments though. I only used 1 can of black beans b/c I'm not a big bean fan. I also took everyone's advise a used 2 packages of corn bread mix. Turned out pretty good. Oh and I had to cook mine about 18 mins. Will defiantly make again. |

Comments: I made this for my family the other day and it was a hit! It was cheap to make and I had almost all the ingredients on hand. I just used the turkey, creamed corn, black beans, corn bread and flour from the original recipe, but then I substituted diced tomatoes for the salsa, burger seasoning for the spices (it was all I had!), and threw in some hot sauce and some green onions from my garden. What really made the difference for my family was adding sour cream on top. It was fantastic! This recipe even filled my hungry family for 2 meals! A little went a long way. |

Comments: This dish was a real winner! It is so simple to prepare and was delicious. I will add this to my permanent recipe box. Thanks to momof2rh for the suggestion about the corn bread. I agree...it needed more corn bread topping to fill it out. Everyone else, also, thanks for the great suggestions. They really help me because I am a novice. |

Comments: This was yummy, I really enjoyed the sweetness of the cornbread mixed with the spiciness of the salsa and chili seasonings. |

Comments: This recipe was awesome! My husband is really picky and loved it!(meat and potato kind of guy) I took the advise on the cornbread and doubled it. I also added a little extra chili powder to give it an extra kick. Try Trader Joes Garlic salsa with it. Yum! I will definately make this again, and again. Such a good meal to have on cold day. |

Comments: This recipe was wonderful! I used two different kinds of beans and skipped the flour and it came out fine. It was even better as leftovers! |

Comments: We love this recipe at my house! I would suggest using two boxes of cornbread mix since it fills out the pan better and it just tastes nicer with a thicker layer of cornbread. I do add garlic/salt/pepper to the meat while it is cooking and I always add extra chili powder. Also, it is great to try out different salsas with it since they can change the flavor of the dish, whether you want it hot or mild or just want something different, I just made it with lime salsa, yum! |

Comments: Quick and easy, nice and hearty for a chilly evening. I made a few adjustments for what I had on hand. Only 1/2 cup of salsa in the fridge so I added 1/2 cup of crushed tomatoes with some pickled jalapenos chopped up. Scraped the kernels off an ear of corn in place of the canned corn. 1 can of kidney beans, no black beans. Added some fresh garlic and onion as well as all the other seasonings called for in the recipe. I really enjoyed this, my bf not so much. He didn't like the sweetness of the cornbread mixed with the chili ( I used Sylvia's cornbread mix which is very sweet) |
