This is A great basic recipe that can be jazzed up to your liking. I added hot pepper flakes, ketchup for sweetness, and thickened the sauce a tad.

I thought the flavor of the recipe was alright, but the meat was very hard to chew.

SUPER fast, and a light simple dish that everyone enjoyed. Could have added a little kick (maybe chili powder and some green chiles, or salsa and some shredded pepper jack cheese) but it was totally edible. I also like the idea of making this an Asian dish. I'll definitely be making this again! :D

EXCELLENT!! I did a few swaps to go with what was in the pantry/frig - chicken in lieu of beef, added baby corns/water chestnuts/light soy sauce/garlic/crushed red pepper/snow pea pods/bean sprouts and toasted sesame seeds to make an asian version of basic recipe(we had left overs of most of the items in the frig already that needed to be used up or thrown out-why not eat?!!!) YUMMY! Will try using basic recipe when items are on hand but great to use as a "starter" for whatever your family likes and what's on hand.
