Very flavorful and moist chicken. I used thin chicken and lowered the temperature to 375 and cooked for 35-40 minutes.

Good Stuff. Easy to make and very moist. My husband thought it should have been crispy. May need to cook a little long if that is the case. It was good just like it was. It could not have been too bad because my husband had seconds and thirds.

This meal was so easy to make! The potato flakes made an excellent breading, and the cayenne pepper made the flavor pop! I have a hard time finding meals to please every member of the family, especially my teen, but ALL were raving about dinner tonight!

This was a very easy and tasty recipe. I had a problem with the high temperature, which no one else seemed to mention. After 15 minutes, the chicken was starting to get too brown, so I turned it down to 400º. It was done in less than an hour. I added some other seasonings to the dry mashed potatoes - garlic powder (I really love garlic), onion powder, pepper and a little paprika. I think I might try marinating the chicken in the buttermilk and egg mixture next time, and also add some seasonings to that. Will definitely make this again. Husband gave it a thumbs up too. Yummy!

my husband loved this chicken. I made it with boneless chicken breasts instead of bone in chicken but it had great flavor and was easy to make.

Easy and pretty good, but not as good as expected. Didn't get very crunchy and i didn't use butter. Not bad flavor though.

I made this meal tonight (7/1/08) for supper. I had to substitute the buttermilk with 1%, but I thought it turned out very good. I ran it by my toughest critic (my husband) and he said it was a little too buttery with a strong potato taste, but like I said before, I thought it was worth making again. I used only chicken legs for mine, so the cooking time was less.

This recipe was pretty good. I had to alter it to what I had, so instead I used garlic chedder potatoes and that was good. The only problem that I had was the potatoes got alittle mushy instead of crunchy where it was sitting in the pan. All in all it was a simple a delicious meal.

This recipe was really easy to follow...I didn't care for the butter that was poured on top, so I made a second batch without it. That batch was really good!I substituted the peper flakes for garlic salt and pepper. I also used herb flavored potatoe flakes-which was really yummy!I imagine that the potatoe flakes will taste good flavored with anything you love!!

This recipe is great if you need something quick and easy, and it tastes great. I added a little pepper to give it an extra kick and it came out great, and everyone in the family enjoyed it, too.

I thought this was a good low-fat substitute for the oven fry product I've used for years, which is no longer available. I skin my chicken so maybe it didn't get as crisp as I am used to. Next time I think I might sprinkle a "handful" of panko or dry bread crumbs to the top of the chicken before the buttter drizzle. My husband really liked the garlic flavor and I will definitely try this again.
