Horrible. When I flipped it over the part of the cake that was supposed to be inverted got stuck in the pan. After I stuck the pinneaple back onto the cake and spooned the syrup over them the cake looked like a mess. And it was mushy and doughy on the inside. Will not make again.

This pineapple upside cake down smells wonderful while baking. It takes a lot of will-power to wait until it can be eaten without burning your tongue.I love the buttery-brown sugar crust that bakes around the pineapple slice. I'm not a fan of marchino cherries but it adds color to this cake.

I made this cake last night before dinner and it was SO easy!! I can't stand for very long and bake like I wish I could so something this simple and tasty and beautiful was great! The only problem I had was the can of pineapple rings I used only had 10 rings and 12 were needed. 12 would've fit PERFECTLY into the 9X13 cake pan. I'll definately make this again but will buy 2 cans of pineapple next time!!

I have tried other pineapple upside-down cakes, but by far this is the BEST recipe I have ever tried. This is my husband's favorite cake for me to make him. It has worked out beautifully each and every time.

Delicious classic cake! I did modify slightly by using crushed pineapple (well drained) instead of the slices (omitting the cherries) and increased the cake ingredients to make a larger cake.

This was wonderful. I always learned to make them the old fashion way in the cast iron skillet. It was not as good as my great grandma's recipe, which I lost, but it will be my substitute for it from now on. Great dessert!

The recipe was the talk of our Easter dinner. I have made cakes from scratch before but this one topped them all. I am now in charge of all the baking goods for every family event including birthdays. As long as I provide this cake along with any other Betty Crocker Recipe.

I have made this easy pineapple cake from my Mother's 1954 Betty Crocker Cookbook, it was known as the Dinette Cake then. This is so easy and brings back alot of memories, in that Cookbook and in my newer version (1980) the dirtiest pages are 'the best ones'.
