I marinated the chicken (I used thighs) all day and my guys LOVED this recipe. It's a keeper they said! I pulled off the skin and used buttermilk made from powder buttermilk. It all worked well for me.

This recipe was very good. I made it with a pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips. It took double the breading mix than what was called for but I tend to be a heavy breader (is that a word? lol) And it only took about 25 minutes to cook. But it was quite tasty. I love the taste the muffin mix gives the chicken. Awesome! A must try. I will be making this again... and again.

OK, even though it tasted good, I probably shouldn't rate or comment until I try it again. I didn't marinate the chicken as long as it said. Forgot to allow the time for it actually. I believe that on my next try, I will marinate it over night. When I do, I will be back to rate it. It didn't look so good coming out of the oven but the taste was nice and my family liked it.

This was a recipe that everybody liked. It's really delicious. Corn bread gives it a very unique flavor.

This recipe is the bomb!!! The only thing I changed was to add half a bottle of hot sauce (Crystal hot sauce) and it was terrific!! Dont worry, the hot sauce wont make it hot at all. Between the buttermilk and the ranch its a perfect match.

The chicken was good, but I think it would have been just as good if the ranch dressing had been omitted and just use the buttermilk as a marinade.

This is the best (fried)chicken ever. You don't have to worry about the extra fat or grease.

Great recipe! I've never used the coating recipe for the chicken - I use an egg, season all salt and pepper. Then I follow the rest of the recipe.
