This is the first trifle I have ever made and it turned out great! It's nice and light and the flavors are great together. I added a few chocolate chips in between the layers. The only problem I had was that I didn't have enough cool whip--The recipe calls for 1 cup but I used almost an entire container of cool whip. Would definitely make again!

We used this recipe as a basic concept for out trifle. Since it is early April the only berries available in our grocery store were strawberries so we used frozen blueberries and frozen blackberries. We also decided to use frozen pound cake so it wouldn't become soggy as the berries thawed. We followed the recipe using these alternative ingredients in their frozen state. It sat in the refrigerator for about 4 hours but we served it slightly frozen. It was pretty to look at and delicious to eat. We can hardly wait for the berry season to begin here in Oregon so we can make the recipe as originally written.

I made this to take to my daughter's for a holiday cookout and they couldn't get enough. I probably could have taken 3 of them and have them all eaten. The only problem was an accident and my daughter accidently cracked my triffle bowl and they are hard to find in this area that they don't cost an arm and a leg. I love triffles of all kinds because they are quick and easy to make especially if you need a quick dish to take to a friends house.

Very good and refreshing dessert. I made mini trifles in some glasses that I found at Linen's n' Things. I figured that way everyone would get an even amount of everything. They were a great success. Everyone asked for another one!

A cool and refreshing summer dessert. Next time I will just buy a tub of Cool Whip instead of making the whipped cream. I only used half of the cake because of the size of my glass dish, but to have used more cake I would have definitely needed more whipped cream. Still, it was a great dish that we all enjoyed.
