These were wonderful. Couldn't find the pre-made eggplant so I made my own eggplant meze. It was little labor intensive with all the veggie cutting, but well worth the effort. I am shocked that they only have a 'two spoons' rating. Will definitely make again as healthy appetizer.

I find it almost offensive that the caption states that this is a "melting-pot" food. The term "melting-pot" has a negative connotation in that it refers to the assimilation of peoples having to disregard their own culture in order to adapt to the "American" way of life. A better/more appropriate and positive description would be that this is a "fusion" dish, fusing aspects of different cultures' cuisines to make an appetizing dish.%0d%0athank you.

I made a couple of these when we went to the beach for the weekend. Servedhot or cold, my family and friendsloved them. And the best part was thatthey are easy to fix and serve.
