Fruit jam that you probably have on hand makes the tasty filling in this easy-to-make layered bar.

Easy and delicious dessert bar. We didn't think they were too sweet but everyone has different tastes. Thanks, reviewers, for the brown sugar and cinnamon topping idea. Made the bars that much better. I had raspberry jam to use but any filling you like would compliment the sugar cookie crust nicely.

Super easy and yummy!!!! I took the advice of other reviewers: 1) Substituted Cherry Pie Filling for Jam, to cut the sweetness 2) Added 1/8 c. brown sugar and 3/4 t. Cinnamon to the topping crust. Will definitely make again. As an aside, I used my Ultimate Brownie Pan to make these and it worked perfectly, making perfect squares.

Everyone's new X'mas favorite. I never used a packaged mix before, but I had a coupon and decided to try it. I used a berry blend fruit spread because I had it on hand. I will definitely make again. I also discovered that the streusel made a good topping for Dutch Apple pie.

Definitely an easy treat, but have had much better raspberry bars. These are EXTREMELY sweet. Next time I would use fresh or frozen berries and control the level of sugar. This time I'm cutting them into bite size pieces because of the sweetness. The dough mix was good though. Would buy it again if I needed to make cookies in a hurry.

These are a quick, easy and very tasty dessert. The only changes I made were to the streusel. I added 1/8 cup of brown sugar and 3/4 tsp of cinnamon to the dough before putting it on top of the rasberry jam. They were SOOOOOO good that they were gone in minutes! My family asks for these time and time again. You have to try this recipe....you can't go wrong.

These bars are always big hit whatever "event" I make them for. I have also done them with different flavors of jam. A variation that I did was to add 1/4 cup chopped up white chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons flour, and 4 tablespoons granulated sugar to the topping to make it more of a crumb top. These turned out wonderful!

Very easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly. Delicious, but a pretty darn sweet. I might try apricot jam next time in place of the seedless raspberry jam.

This is definatley a crowd favorite! So easy and so delicious, it's one of my favorite recipes! Only I don't let them cool too much, I think they are best served warm.
