This was the worst cookie recipe. I wondered about the no eggs, but followed the directions. Tasteless and crumbles. I wasted 2 sticks of butter.

I was wondering why there is no egg in this recipe...then I read the reviews..going to add 2 eggs,another cup of flour and a half cup of granulated sugar,which is a recipe for annisette cookies minus the anise. Dont want to waste 2 sticks of butter.

I made these this weekend. they were good but looked more like a pancake with jelly in the middle. not at all what the picture was. I even followed the recipe to the letter. -S-

This recipe needs much work! The recipe says to soften butter, ok this is normal but here is no other liquid in this cookie and the dough was crumbly at first. So I added a couple tsp of milk and let chill in fridge. Everything seemed ok after that but after baking they were bland, needs more salt and they fell apart! I will not be using this recipe again! I'm going to have to remake my cookies with another recipe.
