These tasted okay but they weren''t very "cheesecakey." I would have prefered making actual cheesecake and cutting it into bars. The crust is pretty thick, but tastes good. The cheesecake part of the bars was sort of mushy instead of relatively firm like cheesecake ought to be. They''re not bad, but I probably wouldn''t make them again. If I did, I''d make a different cheesecake batter to pour onto the crust. When I made them I lined the pan with foil first so I could lift the bars out more easily. It worked great and kept my pan perfectly clean.
