It's a quick, tasty bite! Whip up a batch of crispy-coated chicken chunks in your microwave. They're perfect for dipping.

OH NO! I thought this would be a great recipe for our cooking class with my high school Special Education students. We had to leave the bisquick out for one student due to food allergies. In the "first" three minute microwave time the chicken burned crispy black and filled the microwave with smoke. I had to explain to our Assistant Principal and maintenance staff what happened and that I was not burning the school down. The smokey smell permeated the entire downstairs of the school. I have learned a great deal from this experience!! I actually would give this a negative one but there is no option for that!

I was skeptical when I first tried this because I usually don't have luck using the microwave for making anything crispy. I really was shocked how crispy and tasty the chicken was. My daughter really liked them too and has asked me to make them again....that's when I know the recipe is a keeper.

These were a disaster! I followed the directions exactly and they came out extremely well done. Completely not edible. They were like little rocks. I even cut the cooking time in half for the second batch with the same result. The breading mixture was fine, but I would highly recommend baking them in the oven. Avoid the microwave at all cost.

this is awesome. Had this for dinner with onion rings.I used 1 dbld recipe w/chix strips cutup 1 in. pcs. used 2 sml. contnrs. of yogurt instead of oil and then added dry ingredients. I also added hot pepper for a little bite. This is a must and i will make this at least once a month. I also baked them in oven at 400 degr. came out real crispy.

Maybe I did something wrong. These turned out so hard and chewy! I mean, hard. You really needed to chew them for a long time. My poor little two-year-old was trying to eat them and he gagged on it! I thought I followed the directions but apparently not. My husband said the breading was good. Maybe I''ll try it again but cook it some other way instead of the microwave. Don''t let this stop you from trying the recipe. I just hope yours turns out better than mine!
