My kids BEG me to make this. Easy way to get them to eat some veggies. They add their ketchup, mustard and pickles and they are in heaven.

I have cooked this recipe with ground beef and chicken. Adding a pack of onion soup mix to the ground beef while cooking makes the meat so flavorful. When I cook the chicken I use boneless skinless chicken breast and dice it up before baking. I also like to pre-cook the frozen veggies and sometimes I use less than the amount called for. My family will eat veggies but I think too much can be a little overbearing. I'm trying to create my own cheese sauce instead of using canned.

I have traded out the cheddar soup with tomato and omitted the veggies. Everything else was kept the same and it is delish!

This is a deliciously moist casserole that kids as well as adults have loved in our family for years. Kids don't like veggies as a rule, but this casserole rocks with flavor and you can bet the veggie-haters will finish every bite! It is quick alright and very easy. When my two young sons and their three cousins were hungry I had to think fast on my feet. I knew I could go to the cupboard, pull out the Bisquick and find a recipe using ingredients I already had every time!

This turned out great. My husband loved it. I used Peas and Carrots for the veggies and also added crushed red pepper and a bit of garlic powder. I wil def. be making this again. It was pretty easy to make but I think the prep time took about 20 mintues than 10 they say it will.

I made this exactly as the recipe says, but it just seemed like it was missing something. No one in my family really liked it. It was ok, and I might try making it again but adding something different. Not sure what yet though.

So yummy. It didn't look like it would be enough bisquick at first, but it turns out to be enough. A great way to sneak in some extra veggies for kids!

This was a great recipe. It was easy and quick - which is something that I really liked. I did make a few modifications: I added about a 1/2 cup more vegetables and it seemed really good - not to much but not to little. Also I did not have any cream of cheddar soup so I used cream of mushroom soup and it tasted great too - probably just not as cheesy. Otherwise it came together and cooked exactly like the directions said. Additionally it looked like it's picture. Next time I will try the cream of cheddar soup to give it the extra cheesey flavor that maybe I missed. IT's biggest plus was that my 2 year olds (who have been more picky lately) ate 2 medium size cut squares of this. I love it when I find somthing that they will eat and it has meat and veggies in it so I know they got a good meal. REALLY GOOD!!

we make this all the time. It is my husband's favorite fast warm dinner. Last night I made it and by mistake I grabbed a can of the nacho cheese instead of the plain cheeder. It really added a nice zing to it.
