I made this today for my bunco club. The cake looks great and tastes good. How in the world do you get the fruit roll up to unroll and cut for the leaves? It just sticks together.

This is One of My Favorite Autumn Recipes!! What I Used For The Shape is a Bundt Cake Pan, it also gives the ridges for the Pumpkin Look!

I used cream cheese icing and colored that instead. The cream cheese simply taste better with spice or carrot cake. Also, I piped my vertical lines on the cake in lieu of spreading the icing and trying to achieve the effect pictured. I used a rounded flat tip. Looked great with lots of awesome reviews for both taste and presentation. I rule!

I made this cake as directed, including the bowls. I had something that looking like two space ships (I thought I was going to die laughing.) I ended up the two little pumpkins that was more then enough for two women's group parties. The taste and decoration was a huge hit. Now on to a bake sale!

I used the spice cake and added 1/2 a can of pumpkin. It was a very tasty cake and went together well. However, I was not able to frost it and make it look like the one in the picture at all. I was happy w/ the flavor but disappointed with the presentation of the project.

I add 1/2 can of pumpkin (not pie filling) to each cake mix, and bake in Bundt pans. I cut the top off each cooled cake to make it even. When placed together on the serving plate, I match the ridges in the cakes for a very realistic looking pumpkin. An ice cream cone for the stem fills the hole. If I have the time and energy, I pipe green or chocolate icing along the grooves of the Bundt cake and fill in with orange icing stars. If it's for Halloween, I outline a face, too, and fill in with yellow icing. It's "boo"-tiful! Lol

This was amazing! The family didn't even think it was real! I used the end of a sugar cone for the stalk and decorated it with green frosting-worked perfect! This was easy to make even though it looks a little tough and was a jaw dropper!

This also gives a nice presentation when baked in a bunt pan. To fill the whole in the top cake from the bunt so you can put on the stem, use a graham cracker push gently just below cake level.
