I made this dessert for a gathering of friends and they loved it. Very creamy like pie with a crunchy top and bottom. I also made some whipped cream with maple extract in it. We ate it warm with the topping and there wasn't a piece left! Great idea and easy to make.

I made this for Thanksgiving, open house at work and am making it for a "Sweets" bake off on Wednesday. I changed it up just a little by using Sweetened Condensed milk instead of the evaporated milk. It has be a big hit! It is definitely a keeper and will be requested from now on during our holiday meals.

Made this for Thanksgiving dinner at the in-laws...everyone loved it I ended up leaving it a bit longer in the oven so the outside got crispier.

Fantastic! Quick and easy to make - easier than pie but same flavor. Everyone loved them. Mine were NOT dry and had plenty of filling. Also, they are not really sweet--just right. For my restricted diet, I used non-fat evap. milk, liquid eggs, and Stevia instead of sugar in the pumpkin mix. I also used the "healthiest" margarine I could find in sticks. This reduced the fat immensely, no cholesterol, etc. The topping sinks into the filling, but don't worry; it comes back to the top as it bakes. HINT: I cut the butter/margarine into the flour, then added the pecans and cut again. Much easier than mixing pecans and flour then adding butter/margarine.

Took these for our golf couples night - everyone raved about them. I think they are pretty bland, there's not enough of the pumpkin center to offset the crust/topping. One lady said they were too sweet - I disagree - they don't have a whole lot of sugar, which I did like. I was pleased with all the compliments on these, the whole pan was gone. If I make these again, I might double the pumpkin filling, I think that would taste better.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone LOVED it! I'm a butter fan so I added a bit more butter to the crust and the topping. This went over so well that I'm going to make it for our family Christmas gathering.

I made this for Thanksgiving. It was a big hit, an alternative to pumpkin pie. Kept well. Everyone asked for seconds and a good friend said "now this is what I want for my birthday. Give my wife the recipe."

This dessert was terrible. I had made it for a church event and I almost did not want to put it out for the guests to eat. First, even though I sprayed my pan as directed, I could not get the squares out of the pan. I think they may have been too cold from being refrigerated overnight. When I got to church I figured if I put them in the oven for just a few minutes, I would be able to cut the squares and remove them from the pan. It did help a little. Also, I thought the taste was rather bland. I know I followed the recipe directions and added all the right ingredients. I don't know why it went wrong. On an up note several ladies at the church came up to me and said they thought the squares were good and one (1) even wanted the recipe. There were a few who came up to me and wanted to know what the "secret" ingredient was - pumpkin of course!
