I used the Heart Smart Bisquick and it needed to bake 20 minutes longer to get firm (probably since I also used a 9 x 13 pan). I feel like there is too much sugar in this recipe and next time I make it I will try less sugar. I had used fresh pumpkin from the garden which may also be why the recipe took longer to bake. I use pumpkin alot so I will let you know how it goes next time.

These pumpkin bars/cakes were delicious. I used a 9x13 pan since it was the largest I had. I had to increase the baking time to about 40 minutes since they were thicker, but they were absolutely delicious. I was unsure about only using 3oz of cream cheese for the frosting, but it was perfect. It was the right amount of cream cheese to compliment but not overpower the pumpkin. I will definitely be making these again and have already recommended them to friends.

I made these bars for Thanksgiving. I am not a frequent baker, and I found these bars extremely easy to make. Everyone was very impressed and my husband could not stop complimenting me! Thanks for the great recipe.

Made these for a family dinner and EVERYONE loved them - including my son's girlfriend who doesn't like anything and my husband, who doesn't like pumpkin. Better yet, I was able to "lighten up" the recipe. I subbed in Splenda for sugar, used light Bisquick, and used low fat cream cheese. I also was out of raisins, so I used Craisins Pomegranate instead. They were a perfect flavor with the pumpkin. The bars were delicious and everyone tore them up!

I made these leaving the raisins out. It was such an easy recipe and they came out so moist and delicious. My family loved them.

someone are work made these, I had to have the recipe. Made them to the tee of the recipe and had in right size pan it called for but it over flowed all over the oven and onto the burners which smoked and caught on fire, but all was ok and they came out fine except for that. So will put in 9x13 (2 of them) next time or as one person did say, just do in 9x13

This recipe was great. I was originally was unsure whether it really meant only 3oz of cream cheese, but I followed the recipe exactly and it was a perfect balance to the pumpkin flavor. The bars were moist by still held together well. As a pumpkin pie lover, I am always looking for new pumpkin recipes and this really hit the spot. Another great Betty Crocker recipe.

I made this recipe yesterday and it is delicious. I put it in a 9 by 13 inch cake pan and baked it for 32 minutes. I substituted 1/2 cup of pecans for the 1/2 cup of raisins. I also had only 1/2 cup of granulated sugar in the house so used 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar instead of the 2 cups of granulated sugar. Topped it with a container of cream cheese frosting. Took it to work and got many of compliments. I will make this again!

I DID make this for my 7 co-workers (all men)and it did not even make it through lunch. I think they even tried to lick the pan!!! I did not change anything to the recipe excpet I took 3oz of cream cheese to be a typo and used a full 8oz package. Needless to say they are already begging me to make another one. It really was amazing.
