I made this recipe just as it was stated. It was fantastic! My husband LOVED the frosting. I did not have a 15 by 10 by 1 pan so I used a slightly smaller one and also got 6 cupcakes from the batch. The frosting was the perfect amount with only the 3 ounces of cream cheese. I will definitely be making these again.

I make this recipe with chopped walnuts instead of raisins and for the frosting I use almond flavoring instead of vanilla and it is a big hit in my house.

Excellent, just made for a family gathering and everyone love them. Made some changes; used 9 X 13 pan, used 13 oz pumpkin and 2 oz unsweetened applesauce, added chopped nuts to batter, baked additional 5 min. For frosting use Philly white chocolate cream cheese and dusted with nuts. Will absolutely make these again.

I used real pumpkin instead of the 15 oz can. If you use real pumpkin it will be 1 3/4 cups of pumpkin.

Great cake, not a bar. I used a 9 by 13 pan and it was great. Took an extra 5 minutes to bake but still was moist. I used 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of Splenda. I'm a diabetic. Also I used 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Frosted "cake" with half of the BC cream cheese frosting. It was enough for me. Every one asks my wife for the recipe, their shocked when she tells them I did it. Anyone can do this recipe.

I just made these bars and they were so moist and flavorful. I did not care for the cream cheese icing as it was a little runny, but it tasted great. Next time I will use my own recipe for icing. My grandaughter will love these. I will certainly use this recipe again. Bisquick is great for quick baking....

I used the Heart Smart Bisquick and it needed to bake 20 minutes longer to get firm (probably since I also used a 9 x 13 pan). I feel like there is too much sugar in this recipe and next time I make it I will try less sugar. I had used fresh pumpkin from the garden which may also be why the recipe took longer to bake. I use pumpkin alot so I will let you know how it goes next time.

These pumpkin bars/cakes were delicious. I used a 9x13 pan since it was the largest I had. I had to increase the baking time to about 40 minutes since they were thicker, but they were absolutely delicious. I was unsure about only using 3oz of cream cheese for the frosting, but it was perfect. It was the right amount of cream cheese to compliment but not overpower the pumpkin. I will definitely be making these again and have already recommended them to friends.
