Recipe is missing final steps! Cake needs to be inverted onto serving plate after cooling for about 5 minutes. CIder and brown sugar create a flavorful sauce on the bottom of the baking dish so this cake needs to be handled like an upside-down cake. When flipped, the plentiful warm sauce permeates the cake keeping it moist, and when topped with dollop of whipped cream, the serving looks just like the picture. Great combination of flavors - guests requested the recipe. Needs to be served warm so sauce doesn't harden. Individual servings reheat nicely in microwave for 20-30 seconds. A warm dessert that is satisfying & flavorful.

Tasted okay but the consistency of the cake (gummy) had me checking to see if I had followed the recipe. Would not recommend .
