It was wonderful!!! I made it for Christmas and everyone loved it! I didn't use as much ham (because I didn't buy enough) but it came out wonderful anyway. I even made it the night before and it held well.

This was very good! The word "pancake" in the name seems a bit misleading, but it was a great casserole. I made it for my family, and my husband and father-in-law were a little worried, I think, that it would taste like quiche, but after trying it everyone really liked it--it was more solid and less fluffy than a quiche. After reading some of the reviews, I did decide to add some veggies (green pepper, onion, and green onion) and extra spices (garlic and dill weed), which I think was a good choice. The warmed-up leftovers were also tasty--although the texture was not as good as the original, the flavors were just as delicious.

I fixed this dish for supper, and it turned out really well--it browned beautifully, and the aroma while it was baking was amazing. However, the next time I fix it--probably for a breakfast at church--I think I'll reduce the ham to 8 oz rather than a full pound. I thought the ham overwhelmed the taste of the bacon and cheeses. Also, for a supper sidh, I may add some chopped Vidalia sweet onion with the ham and bacon. Anyway, I really do recommend this recipe to anyone with hungry people to feed at brunch.

Definitely a family favorite! I make a 1/2 recipe in a 9x9 pan. What doesn't get eaten up immediately is pretty good cold and portable for breakfast on the run. I use olive oil instead of butter, skim milk and reduced fat cheese. We like Provolone for one layer and a Colby/Jack mix for the rest. Great for leftover meats, from ham lunchmeat to chopped bratwurst. Mixing dillweed and pepper into the dry Bisquick adds a pop of flavor. Don't bother with the nutmeg. On top of the last layer of cheese, we sometimes use mushrooms and chopped scallions, or tomatoes and parsley....lots of options. Haven't met anyone who doesn't like this!

Easy dish to make for a family brunch. Bisquick bottom was substantial to hold up all of the ham, cheese and eggs. Could do this with a variation of other flavors and I think it would turn out just as good. Looking forward to see how the few left over pieces hold up in the microwave for breakfast tomorrow. Would make this again

wow! i can't say that this is that healthy, but it's great for those days when you need some comfort food.... (*note, i had no bisquick on hand, so i used krusteaz instead- the recipe turned out a bit more fluffy than i anticipated) I just used whatever I had on hand (onion, a few thin slices of tomato, sausage links, parsley) and halved the ingredients since I was the only one eating, and used a lot less cheese. It still turned out amazing! This is a really versatile recipe! :)

This got rave reviews from all six children. Not a bite left over. Couldn't be easier to make and doesn't require lengthy time in the kitchen. Also great for the kidos to help with. My seven year old was helper the day we made this and he had no trouble at all. Definitely will make this again. This weekend in fact!!

This was fantastic for my family. I made it for brunch and served it with warm maple syrup. There are enough leftovers for a couple of breakfasts during the week. I used thick sliced bacon and less ham, no added salt. I plan on using this recipe over the holidays.
