Meet a cousin to banana bread, easy to mix and pop in the oven. Worth the wait while it bakes!

I made this for my Bible Study and they absolutely loved it. And the best part was my husband who doesn't like pumpkin thought it was great!

This is a wonderful bread...moist and delicious. I've given it as a gift many times and it always gets rave reviews and recipe requests. I've even ran out of dates and substituted dried cranberries. It was equally yummy.

Next time will try whit 1 cup of grind carrot to replace pumkin.

This bread was yummy! I gave them as a Christmas gift, but mini loaf style. I just baked them at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes. They came out moist and delicious! I would make this recipe again.

I absolutely love this recipe! I made it the first time for work and it was gone instantly! I use a packet of instant maple/brown sugar oatmeal cut with butter for the praline topping..its much faster and tastes delicious!

This was a nice moist bread, but it was not as sweet as we like. Next time I will add more sugar, and dried cranberries.

We simply love it - I use this recepe for years and every time I make it it's a huge success! TIP: I don't use a can of pumpkin but 450 g of steamed pumpkin (as we grow them every year in our garden); you can deep-freeze the rest of it and use it next time.

This is a really great bread. The only substitutions I made were: in place of dates, I used candy kisses; instead of pumpkin, I used squash, and I added 4 qts of Amaretto liquor, straight up. Happy holidays.
