These are the best! My mom makes them often. I made them myself for the first time today and they were just as good as my mom's. I did half as full size muffins and half as mini muffins (reduce bake time to 9 minutes for mini muffin size. The biscuits are so moist and the toping is so delicious! They were gone in a few hours with the help of 3 hungry men!

I added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the biscuit mix and the flavor really pops! I will be making these for Easter.

If you are a diabetic, you can also use splenda brown sugar in the topping and splenda applesauce in place of the sugar in the biscuit. My husband loves these!

These are sooo good! My whole family loved them and ate them all before they could cool down! My brother is a very picky eater and he told me that this is the best thing that I have ever cooked! He now wants the recipe! I followed the recipe exactly.

These are the best biscuits I've ever tasted, not to sweet, just right. The whole family liked them, and that's saying a lot. I feed 7 people, 3 of them young men, who eat like they won't get another meal. I will be making them again real soon.

I love this recipe for a quick breakfast. I make them in an 8 inch square dish, 'tho. It's so much easier than the cupcake pan! The caramel on the bottom of the dish is easy to scrape out and spread on the biscuits. YUMMY!

I loved these simple biscuits. I made them as mini-biscuits and they were a big hit. Couldn't get enough.
