1/4
cup energy drink
1/4
cup vegetable oil
1
egg
2

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Generously grease 12 regular-size muffin cups with shortening or cooking spray, or place paper baking cup in each muffin cup.
  • 2 In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, pouch of fudge, energy drink, oil and egg until well blended. Stir in cereal. Fill muffin cups three-fourths fill; top each with 1 walnut half.
  • 3 Bake 18 to 21 minutes or until toothpick inserted in edge of brownie comes out clean. (Do not overbake.) Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Expert Tips

For some extra energy, spread the tops of cooled brownies with peanut butter or almond butter.

Instead of making the brownies into cupcake shapes, bake in an 11x7-inch pan for 31 to 34 minutes, then cut into 4 rows by 3 rows after cooling.

To crush cereal, place in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and crush with rolling pin or meat mallet (or crush in food processor).
