This turned out great! It was moist and dense after 1:15 in the oven. I would definitely recommend using almond extract instead of just plain vanilla, or trying some variations on it, because it is a bit plain (that's why I gave it just 4 spoons of 5). As a base for a dessert (like strawberry shortcake), though, it's great!

Cake had a delicious flavor, however, I think an hour and 10 minutes may have been a little too long in my oven. It came out a little dry and I think it's because I left in oven too long. Should have kept a better eye on it! But I will try this recipe again!

Wow! This is a totally awesome pound cake! I made it in 2 loaf pans, one was a stone type pan and the other metal. Both came out very good but the stone baker one was super moist. Yummy!

I love this recipe because I can have it in the morning with a fruit salad or just with plain tea or coffee. my family also love it too they say it's mouth watering. Thank You Bett y Crocker for this marvalious recipe.
