Potato pancakes, or latkes, are eaten traditionally during Hanukkah, but they are great to serve any time. Serve them with sour cream or Applesauce. Another great recipe to serve them with is our Braised Brisket of Beef.

I agree with the fact they are simple to make but just 1/4 of bisquick is not enough add a touch more an they turn out great.

I basically had problems with the amount of ingredients for this dish. With only 1/4 cup bisquick it made it very runny when trying to spoon into the skillet. I finally kept adding bisquick until it seemed thick enough to set up properly. Other than that it was pretty tasty.

Great, but suggest adding grated onions and fresh garlic or garlic powder.

These pancakes tasted great considering that I have never had potato pancakes before. I would recommend making sure that you let them cook a little longer than the usual pancake. I used frozen potatoes and they needed that extra time. Still they tasted great!
