cup diced fully cooked ham

cups chicken broth

medium stalks celery, chopped (1 cup)

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

cup all-purpose flour
  1. Mix Potatoes, Sauce mix from potatoes, ham, broth, celery, onion and pepper in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 hours.
  2. Mix half-and-half and flour. Gradually stir half-and-half mixture into chowder until blended.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat setting 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until thickened and vegetables are tender.
