My son and I liked this one but the beef does need some additional flavoring. Will try taco seasoning next time instead of the salt and pepper.

I cut this recipe in half and still had enough for six servings. I have no idea why others called it greasy unless they didn't drain the fat off the ground beef. Also I used the sirloin beef which has less fat. I found it a little on the dry side but still was a winner and would make it again.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to add a can of hormel chilli with beans just to give the meat some flavor. I also added some dried minced unions to absorb some of the oil n liquid. It came out really good, but why does it say at the end to add the paprika when it was not listed in the ingridients?

The taste came out great, but it did come out greasy and like soup. We ate it just like that. I suggest maybe adding more flour to thicken the sauce up.

great recipe. i did maker a few changes. i cooked my ground beef drained it and added taco seasoning. then i used a mexican style cheses. turned out awesome. next time i will add some vegtables to it..

Good, but you might want to flavor the ground beef a little more as you are cooking it - we add worchestershire sauce instead of salt and pepper. Delicious. Thanks Betty Crocker.

The potatoes were great, my husband loved the cheese. But I think the dish would be much better with ham instead of ground beef. I am serving spiral ham on Christmas Eve, this recipe will be great to use the leftover ham. I recommend using dry mustard when adding ham to a dish. The two are perfect together.
