What do you get when pork chops and Swiss cheese meet that standby, French-fried onion-topped, Green Giant green bean casserole? A tasty, well rounded dinnertime hit.

I really altered this recipe to see how I might use it for chicken.I have made the pork chops and they were awesome, by the way ;) I used boneless skinless chicken breasts in place of the pork and cream of chicken soup instead. I lightly coated the chicken in flour before browning and I did so in a little oil instead of non-stick spray. I did not have swiss on hand so I used monterey like one reviewer suggested. And I used mixed veggies also. It came out so great!! My husband and I are not fans of the crunchy onion so I used crushed Ritz crackers and it came out like an amazing pot pie. But to both recipies I would add a bit extra water so it is not so thick. I would definately make this again!

This is so good. Last time I didn't have cream of celery soup or Swiss cheese, so I used cream of onion and Monterey jack cheese. Also used a can of drained green beans. That combination was excellent as well. This is going in my rotation as a regular dinner since it was a hit with everyone.

This was super easy to make. It really only takes 15 minutes then the rest of the time it's in the oven. No standing over the stove stirring stuff. Loved it. I made the recipe as it says, and would only change a few things. Season the porkchops the way you usually do. They didn't really have much taste with just a little bit of salt and pepper. Also, add some salt and pepper to the green bean casserole, and maybe add rice to it. This is what I will try next time. The pork chops were very tender though and my family loved it. Even my son, who is 3 finished off the pork chop. Which is a miracle. Thanks.

A good, quick recipe that is a weeknight dinner staple in our house. The pork chops can be a tad dry, but I have found that layering them between the green bean casserole helps to alleviate that. Also, I use a standard green bean casserole recipe found on the back of the fried onions can and that works fine.

This recipe was awesome! My husband said he really liked it, especially the fried onions. I used crushed red pepper instead of pimentos.

We tried this recipe that we thought would be better because we love green bean casserole. We felt that there was not enough seasoning and the pork chops were rather dry. This recipe may need more liquid and I will make the recipe with the traditional green bean casserole recipe next time. Thank you for the idea.

My family absolutly loves this recipe and it's so easy to make! Only I leave out the pimentos..they taste a little funny to me. It's also awesome if you add white rice to it!

We loved this recipe. I made it just like the recipe and it was wonderful. Pork chops were so moist that we could cut them with our forks. During the meal my husband commented that this was a keeper and my daughter agreed. This recipe will be used often at our house.

tired this with mushrooms condensed soup and sliced mushrooms and in place of salt, which i NEVER USE, i use MRS. DASH or enhance the flavor with garlic or cheyenne pepper....the trick is to use fresh veggies that i get from the farmers market something about the taste of fresh from the farm veggies
